*Queer necropolitics: lives, deaths and the end(s) of queer anthropology*
The topic of death is far from new to gay and lesbian anthropologists. However, recent developments in Western queer politics suggest an important political shift from those queers who are left to die (through HIV/AIDs or denial of reproduction and parenting), to queers that reproduce life (Puar 2007). Yet, not all queers are ‘fostered for living’; just as only some queer deaths are constituted grievable (Butler 2004). When looking at the simultaneous expansion of liberal gay politics and its complicity within the US ‘war on terror’, Jasbir Puar calls our attention to the ‘differences between queer subjects who are being folded (back) into life and the racialised queernesses that emerge through the naming of populations’, often those marked for death (2007: 36.). Inspired by Achille Mbembe’s concept of necropolitics — a concept he develops when analysing subalternity, race and war and terror (Mbembe 2003) — and by Puar’s insightful notion of queer necropolitics, this panel seeks to explore the relations between queerness and war, immigration, colonisation, imprisonment and other forms of population control.

Estoy preparando mi texto de 300 palabras sobre lo que estoy dispuesta a hacer y lo que no en Perras Horizontales, un proyecto de prostitución alternativa que espero me saque de la pobreza.
Y tengo que hablar con propiedad, así que estoy preparando un vocabulario básico. Primera palabra: Irrumación.

La irrumación (del latín irrumatio) es una variante de la felación (el sexo oral sobre el pene y el escroto).

Hay una sutil diferencia entre la irrumación y la felación: en la felación la persona feladora (la que chupa) se mueve (mientras el felado se queda en una actitud pasiva), en el caso de la irrumación el irrumado (el hombre cuyo pene será chupado) realiza todos los movimientos, situado encima o al lado de la persona irrumadora, quien —usualmente acostada y en actitud pasiva— recibe el pene en la boca. En la Antigua Roma la irrumación se consideraba un tipo de vejación, como se ve evidenciado en los grafitos pornográficos y obscenos y en los frescos hallados en el siglo XVIII en las paredes de las ruinas de Pompeya y en los Priapeos.

The Post Porn Politics 2 Symposium in the Volksbuehne Berlin is postponed until november. The Volksbuehne is closing for their biggest renovation in history (since world war 2. In the meantime, we will update our webpage www.postpornpolitics.com and plan to publish the book «post porn politics» (in english language) in april´08 on bbooks / www.bbooks.de it will include new versions of all the lectures and a few new texts by the partiking speakers of ppp1, and interviews with a lot of the partaking artists.
