Post-porn in the UK
Someone talking about postporn in Uk!
My MA dissertation and my upcoming PhD research focus on something called post-porn. This little hyphenated word really seems to get people into a fix. Some like it; some misunderstand it; some view what it stands for as revolutionary; while others equate it with something a little more… sinister (that’s for another blog post). But most people have never heard of it. Case in point: there is no Wikipedia page for it. Doesn’t that tell you something? (Other than that I’ve not yet worked out how to create pages and edit on Wikipedia…)
