Very soon in Artivistic 2009, Montreal: Turn On!

The performance is a porn version of the piece Public Domain of Roger Bernat, catalan theater director.

«Public Domain does without the actor as the main aspect of the show and leaves the audience as the only participant. It is not about turning the spectator into an actor, but about fulfilling the narrative possibilities of the group using statistical tools. The spectators are part of a fiction without the need of exposing themselves as individuals on a stage that, on the other hand, has as many actors as spectators watching the show.»

So the statistical tools that Roger is using will be porn statistics. I will ask the participants about their sex life, porn preferences, sexual desires… and we will play. Those ones who have sex toys at home, one step forward. Those ones who are into submission, make a cross on your left arm. Those ones who had a wank this morning, put your hand between your legs. Those ones who thought about their underwear before coming here today, show it to us. Those ones who have sweating hand in stress ful situations, touch your neighbour´s tits.

It will be a game with no scheduled results.

[A Barcellona c’è una vera e propria scena porno alternativa. Ne avevo già parlato qui, ai tempi dell’uscita spagnola di ‘Porno para mujeres’, il libro di Erika Lust. Ora, grazie a María Llopis, che mi ha concesso un’intervista (vedi di seguito), parlo di post porno, una controcultura – c’è chi dice un movimento artistico – che non necessariamente mette in scena del sesso. C’è vita oltre il porno.]

Yo y el otro es una exploración de la mirada fotográfica que entra en cuestiones de identidad personal y cultural. Mientras que la identidad personal puede ser vista a través de diferentes supuestos del yo, no se puede pasar por alto la representación del otro para comprender la identidad cultural de un pueblo. En tanto que el tema más perdurable de la mirada de un fotógrafo, el otro ha desempeñado un papel significativo en la cristalización de la memoria y la opinión humanas. El subtítulo de la exposición, Retratos en la fotografía india contemporánea, hace referencia al prisma a través del cual veremos los cambios, las dicotomías y las alteraciones en el complejo tejido social de la vida en la India.

Nacho Vidal y yo en el Bagdad

Tuve el gusto de conocer a Nacho Vidal en la segunda parte del rodaje de Fake Orgasm. Confirmo lo que es un secreto a voces: es un cachondo muy sexy y muy listo.
Un gustazo también rodar en el mítico Bagdad, con el susodicho y la conocida actriz porno Sophie Evans, otro encanto de mujer por cierto, puro sexo.

Al final el porno mainstream no va a estar tan mal… De hecho el show de Sophie y Nacho fue una delicia y me salí mil veces del guión porque sólo me apetecía gritarles barbaridades y subirme con ellos al escenario. Menos mal que estaba allí Lazlo pellizcándome.

Como siempre, me lo pasé teta en el rodaje, un equipazo estupendo, aunque no intimé tanto como otras veces con los miembros del equipo… Un besazo a todos, espero que nos encontremos pronto!
