Queer Film Fest in Mumbai
Este fin de semana hay un festival de cine queer en Mumbai: Queer Nazariya. Hace 6 años que no se celebraba un festival de cine queer en la ciudad y la gente esta muy contenta. Yo voy a la sesión de mañana titulada Age, disability and sexuality. Me interesa el tema. A las 11:30h de la mañanita, a ver si aguanto, porque hoy toca fiesta sólo para chicas en un garito chic de Bandra, el barrio de Mumbai del que no pienso salir en toda la semana que voy a estar aquí.
Excepto para la presentación del jueves. Que es en Colaba.

With the judgement being challenged in the Supreme Court by a handful of people, and the unprecedented media attention now being given to queer issues, this is the perfect time to have a festival of queer films in Bombay.
Through screenings of exciting films from around the world, Queer Nazariya wants to reach out to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people; to create an affirmative space and a meeting place for all those queer folk out there who do not fit in with society’s norms of sexuality or gender.

…Volte exists to provide a platform for non-traditional art and culture in Mumbai. We see ourselves as a node, a gathering point to promote ideas and conversations between artists, technologists, activists, writers, intellectuals and the community at large. Volte is a radical shift from the traditional gallery model,where the exhibitions, events and audience intermingle in a dynamic and exciting programme. While we promote all media of contemporary art, we are interested in advocating and exhibiting projects which blur the lines between the arts, sciences, spirituality and life itself.

1.- Presentación oficial del libro El Postporno era eso con acto psicomágico y lectura performática de un fragmento del mismo (Invitada especial Diana Pornoterrorista). Introducción de José Pons, director de la editorial Melusina.
2.- Tim Stüttgen presentará su libro PostPornPolitics. Su alter ego Timi Boy Monigatti responderá a la ansiada pregunta ¿Qué es el postporno? y su segundo alter ego, Timi Mei Monigatti, nos deleitará con su performance The Joy of Castration.
3.- Presentación del corto de Lola Clavo Switch.
4.- Turno de preguntas.
5.- ¡Fuego! Todo nuestro pasado arderá en al hoguerá, traed objetos que simbolicen aquello de lo que quereís desprenderos. Quemaremos la exposición y los libros que hagan falta. Como el ave Fénix, renaceremos de nuestras cenizas.
