No kisses, no clothes of. Pues menudo plan, pensé yo cuando me pusieron estas dos condiciones dos de los talleristas para grabar un pequeño video que representara la sexualidad femenina como fuerte y poderosa frente a una sexualidad masculina débil, pasiva y (aun así) sexy y hetero. Me equivocaba. El nivel de implicación en la performance fue tremendo, casi tenía que pararles porque se me comían…

Ha sido un taller estupendo. El primer día tuvimos una conferencia abierta sobre postpornografía en la que vimos trabajos de Annie Sprinkle, Shu Lea Cheang, BruceLaBruce… Un tema que me gustó en particular fue la distinta forma de transgresión sexual que encontramos en el trabajo de artistas como Tejal Shah, en cuyo video porno se presenta vestida con ropas masculinas y abusando de un hombre. Tejal es una artista de Bombay y como mujer y lesbiana se ve enfrentada a una cultura donde la homosexualidad es delito y la pornografía está prohibida. Vestirse como un hombre y hacerse chupar su dildo de plástico por un señor tiene un nivel de riesgo dentro de la cultura india que nosotros, desde este lado del mundo, percibimos de otra manera.

Aquí podemos ver a una de las talleristas inspirándose en las evocadoras imágenes de Annie Sprinkle…

El tercer día, miércoles, era el día de rodaje. Varios de los talleristas eligieron versionear a una de las porn stars que más impresionó (y dió que hablar) en la parte teórica: Belladonna y su porno hardcore. Annika se hizo proyectar las imágenes de uno de sus videos más duros sobre su cuerpo mientras tomaba las mismas posiciones que Belladonna. En el video final, el cuerpo de Belladonna y el de Annika se confunden y pasan a ser uno. Otro joven tallerista, Calle, grabó «Tight. The new soft porn movie. 1000 times softer than ordinary porn», un video en el que de manera inocente y dulce, unas manos echan un polvo.

También tuvimos un Porno Puppet Show, de Julia. En el vidoe final es impresionante como crece la tensión sexual entre unos muñecos. Julia tenía puppets de madera de pollas y coños, muy bonitos. También una muñeca de madera cual Pinocho, pero no asexuada como nos encontramos normalmente, sino con pechos y caderas voluptuosas.

Yo tuve mi pequeño encuentro sexual con la mano de plástico…

WORKSHOP PROGRAM:
The aim of the workshop is the creation of do-it-yourself porn and the debate in the theme of porn and feminism.
We will have all the necessary technical material to start shooting: digital camara, video projector, a computer for quick editing and a lot of energy to create sexual representations from a subversive point of view.

In the theoretical part of the workshop we will show a selection of the work of a variety of artists working in postporn. We will provide a bibliography and a list of web bookmarks for those who wish to continue investigating. Through this material we will evoke questions and themes to be debated with the participants and try to arrive at theoretical and/or practical responses to the numerous unanswered questions posed by pornography in relation to feminism.

In the practical part we will discuss the proposals, ideas and dreams of short films proposed by the participants in the workshop. We will explore the best way to represent them taking into account the limitations of time and space. We will discuss our desires, our voyeurism and exhibitionism when creating images.
Each participant will decide individually what she wants to do with the recorded material and what distribution it should have. Private use or public screening (in the workshop) or internet distribution (we will talk about the diferent ways of doing it).

12th May
Presentation. Theoretical part.
– Post porn, queer politics and post feminism.
– Post porn as part of the do it yourself culture.
– Post porn festivals: PornFilm Festival Berlin 2006-7, PornFilmFestivalParis 2008, Netporn Conference Amsterdam 2005, Click´me Amsterdam 07, Pinched amsterdam 08, Festival XXYZ Toulouse, Transmarikabollo Barcelona and others.
– Women and porn: Why “porn for women” doesn´t make sense. Women and hardcore porn. Women doing pornography, women consuming pornography, women loving/hating pornography.
– Some of the artists and creators we will talk about (and see some excerpts of their work): Annie Sprinkle, Emilie Jouvet, Maria Beatty, Tejal Shah, BruceLaBruce, Julia Ostertag, PostOp, Go Fist Foundation, Virginie Despentes, Shu Lea Cheang, Barbara De Geneviere, Tim Stüttgen, Beatriz Preciado, Belladonna, …

13th May
Personal. Very personal. What are our sexual fantasies? What would we like to film? What would we like to see in a porn movie?

14th May
Shooting day. For this workshop we will play a game: we will choose an excerpt from one of the films screened during the theoretical part. We will take the script and we will film a short piece based on the script in groups, trying to make our own version. The results may be very different to each other!

15th May
Conclusions. Screening of the material filmed the previous day. Discussion about the posibilities of editing and about the future of postporn.
