Party in Bombay to raise funds & support the fight against Sec. 377

Como ya sabreís, el 2 de Julio se descriminalizó la homosexualidad en India, la lucha continúa…

Dear Friends,
On 2nd July 2009, the Delhi High Court decriminalised consensual, adult, same-sex relations in private by reading down Section 377 of the IPC. We are here to experience this hirstoric moment which has brought our battle, finally and officially over-ground. It’s time to celebrate and honour the work, effort, utterances and outings of thousands of people from all walks of life who’ve made this happen.
Sexuality and gender orientation have certainly not been the only motivating factors. People who believe in a just and humane society, who understand that all our lives are interconnected have been at the forefront of this movement.
The high court decision has been appealed at the Supreme Court level. We need to raise money, party and celebrate to keep the fight against Sec 377 going!!!

Join us for a night of fun….

What should you expect? lots n lots of queer & queer-friendly folks! flamboyance, kissing, dancing, disco lights, hot & bothered music, light snacks to tease your appetite, and PLAY PLAY PLAY!

Damages? Rs. 300 + Bring. Your. Own. Booze

PS: all funds raised from this party will be directly given to Voices Against 377
