…Este es un libro sobre los orígenes y las características de la imaginación pornográfica moderna. Dicha imaginación se ha construido al paso que se investigaba y asentaba la autonomía de lo erótico, marcando distancias de los postulados de la religión y la moral hegemónica del mismo modo que han tenido que hacer lo propio la ciencia, la ética o el arte contemporáneos.
Por eso no es extraño que buena parte de los nombres más señeros de la modernidad: de Giulio Romano a Apollinaire, pasando por Diderot hayan hecho aportaciones fundamentales al desarrollo de la imaginación pornográfica y la autonomía de lo erótico.Por supuesto que esta autonomía de lo erótico ha jugado siempre, como ha sucedido con la autonomía del arte, en el ambigüo campo de una sociedad basada en profundas discriminaciones de género, raza y clase social, un campo que se ha preocupado tanto de pregonar los grandes principios del humanismo y la libertad como de restringirlos cuidadosamente a la hora de la verdad. Buena parte del libro se ha dedicado a exponer lo que se ha conocido como “amenaza pornográfica” así como a analizar el funcionamiento de determinadas fantasías en los dominios de la imaginación erótica y la imaginación del militarismo, quizá los campos en que con más crudeza se advierten las reglas de administración de los cuerpos y sus potencias.

Me sorprende encontrarme con esta noticia en El País. O tal vez no debería de sorprenderme tanto.
Isabella Rossellini, la mujer que sale de una piscina con tacones, presenta en el Sundance un pequeño proyecto titulado Green Porno, y que consiste, no se lo pierdan, en representar la vida sexual de distintos animales: mainly insects. Interpretados por ella misma y con un diseño de vestuario que ni Barrio Sésamo.
Está claro que a Isabella le pone el fascinante mundo de la sexualidad los bichos. Cada uno con sus aficiones. Las mujeres se lanzan a dirigir porno. ¿Es esto el futuro? Sobra decir que Rossellini disfrazada de mantis religiosa tiene su morbo. Pero yo creo que con la voz que tiene esta mujer, hasta un programa de cocina presentado por ella resultaría morboso y sensual.
Pero, ¿podemos interpretarlo como un guiño irónico al mundo de la pornografía? Al fin y al cabo el postporno se define como un ejercicio de crítica y reinterpretación del porno mainstream. …

The performance is a porn version of the piece Public Domain of Roger Bernat, catalan theater director.
«Public Domain does without the actor as the main aspect of the show and leaves the audience as the only participant. It is not about turning the spectator into an actor, but about fulfilling the narrative possibilities of the group using statistical tools. The spectators are part of a fiction without the need of exposing themselves as individuals on a stage that, on the other hand, has as many actors as spectators watching the show.»
So the statistical tools that Roger is using will be porn statistics. I will ask the participants about their sex life, porn preferences, sexual desires… and we will play.
